To be the predominant provider of prepaid legal expense insurance products and services to protect the professionals who have dedicated themselves to human care, life, and well-being.
FHPLEI was founded in 2002 with the mission to provide Florida’s licensed healthcare professionals affordable insurance and the highest quality legal representation in the event of investigations against their professional licenses or defense of malpractice claims. FHPLEI undertook the rigorous application process by the Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation for its approval to offer legal expense insurance during the fourth quarter of 2002 and received formal approval in January 2003.
Our mission is to provide the best possible resources to assist doctors in the defense of their personal and professional assets. The development of our products and services revolve around the medical profession’s financial responsibility act as designated by Florida law (F.S. 458.320)

Our goal is to develop a network of experts in the fields of law, finance, insurance and asset management and protection in order to provide professional products and services, strategies and other advice necessary to minimize the financial impact of licensure investigations and malpractice claims.
