Policy Limits

The maximum amount payable in connection with expert witness fees in connection with any ongoing malpractice defense or licensure investigation shall not exceed $5,000.00 during the policy year. Expert witness fees payable in connection with Medicare or Medicaid audit(s), HIPAA investigation(s), or OSHA review(s) during the policy year shall not exceed $2,500.00 . Costs exceeding the maximum amount shall be the responsibility of the named policyholder.

The maximum amount payable in connection with professional medical record auditing during the policy year is $1,500.00. Costs exceeding the maximum amount shall be the responsibility of the named policyholder.

FHPLEI shall have no obligation to provide or reimburse for services and expenses once the maximum policy benefits have been reached. You, the policyholder, will be responsible for all fees and expenses above and beyond the limits of the policy.
